Dispersed entrepreneurship within multinational corporations: a community perspective
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to develop a theoretical perspective on the occurrence of dispersed entrepreneurship in large multinational corporations (MNCs). It is hypothesized that the sharing of knowledge in entrepreneurial initiatives that involve MNCs is supported by a behavioral theory of entrepreneurial communities. It is concluded that managers need to allow situations of high-boundary porosity in order to succeed in exploiting new opportunities.
