Ford backing away in Europe: regional chief says no decision yet on whether to sell Volvo

Lewis Booth, chairman of Ford of Europe Inc., has announced that the company will likely sell its premium Land Rover and Jaguar brands, a decision affecting approximately 16,000 employees, primarily in the UK. Booth said, however, that no decision has been made on whether or not to sell its Volvo division.
