Down and dirty

Lever Pond's has launched the "Go Ahead. Get Dirty" campaign to change the consumers' perception on its Sunlight laundry detergent brand. The company initiated the move to increase Sunlight's 13% share of Canada's C$470- million laundry detergent market in 1998, which is a distant second to the 13% share of Procter and Gamble's Tide brand. The campaign, which was developed by Ammirati Puris Lintas Inc, conveyed that Sunlight can tackle heavy-duty dirt and stains in order to boost consumer confidence in the brand.
