Los Angeles is making strides in improving its dreadful traffic situation with the introduction of its Metrolink rail service. There is debate, though, as to how many cars the service will actually take off the road, as well as criticism on costs.

The Los Angeles Metrorail subway system is a good idea, but it is poorly managed. Right now the system only travels 4.4 miles. Expansion planning is being manipulated by wealthy political interests, not by customer needs.
