Down with the n-word
Article Abstract:
There have been reactions to the usage of language which have led to resignations due to minority groups taking offence at certain words that could be interpreted as pejorative. Some of these reactions relate to words that could initially appear as innocent in terms of their origin and the intentions of the user. The logical consequence of such sensivitity is to reduce the number of words that can be used to a small fraction of those in the English language.
