E.On weighs exchanging gas stakes with Gazprom

Germany's E.ON AG has announced that it will consider permitting Russia's state-owned OAO Gazprom to obtain stakes in its gas-fired electric power plants in return for an interest in a gas field in Russia. The deal would produce 60% of E.ON's gas-production target.
