NVT (NY Havns Vo dog Trawlbinderi), a netmaker in Denmark is shifting its operations from Esbjerg to Thyboron. A number of its clients have gone out of business in recent times forcing the company to consider such a move. Esbjerg port's industrial fleet too has shifted to Thyboron.

High tech route to durable ropes

Bexco, a Belgian rope manufacturer has installed a rope - making machine by August Herzog Maschinenfabrik of Germany that can make endless lengths of 12 strand rope in sizes up to 140mm. The rope-making machine is unique and made to order for Bexco specifications.
