Steady-state approximations for a multi-echelon multi-indentured repairable-item inventory system
Article Abstract:
An approximation algorithm for solving a two-tier multi-indentured repairable item in a steady-state inventory system is presented. The model, which is designed to solve large problems relatively quickly, is also tested for accuarcy and computational efficiency. The results show that the approach is more feasible and much faster in solving complicated multi-indentured inventory problems than simulation.
