Tallie Marine is designing the first 10-meter long little elephant inshore boat which is as per the rules laid down by Mozambique for prawn trawling. As per the rules, if a vessel is under 10 meters and below 100 hp, the operator only needs a permit and not a license. The testing and other formalities are complete for this vessel, which is aiming at African inshore fisheries.

Chinese tuna liner detained in Maputo

African country Mozambique has detained Chinese tuna fishing vessel Da Yuan Yu 309 for illegally fishing in its exclusive economic zone. The vessel has been fined 400,000 dollars for this violation.
