Who to trust?: The fight over which body will regulate key parts of Hong Kong stock trading is nearing its end
Article Abstract:
Hong Kong struggles in making the requisite changes to improve the regulatory regime of its stockmarket and in keeping pace with the other competitors. Among all the large stock exchanges Hong Kong remains a rarity in not entrusting the regulation of the stockmarket oversight to an independent statutory body.
