Deutsche Bank and Nippon Life in asset venture

Deutsche Bank AG intends to form an asset-management joint venture with Nippon Life Insurance Co., forming a London, UK-based company called Nissay Deutsche Asset Management Europe, to allow the sharing of products and distribution networks in their markets. The joint venture, which will see the transfer of the Japanese firm's asset-management staff to Deutsche Bank's asset-management offices, would offer Nippon Life's investment products to the German bank's customers. The joint venture is two-thirds-owned by Nippon Life, while Deutsche Bank controls the remaining stake.
