From tragedy comes a chance for Pakistan
Article Abstract:
The assassination of Pakistan People Party's Benazir Bhutto could unite Pakistan and in closer cooperation between Bhutto's party and Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League. It could also lead to the end of president Perrvez Musharraf's regime. The possible impacts of Bhutto's unfortunate death on Pakistan politics are analyzed further.

The recent massacre of 11 Chinese construction workers near Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan bears evidence that the country is yet to find its bearings. Prior to the tragedy, Kunduz was considered to be one of the safest areas. The arrests of 10 suspects have shed light on Taliban and Al QaedaEs growth in the region.
