Fused
Article Abstract:
Teams of young architects and artists are exhibiting at the RIBA Architecture Centre in London. The installation by Fashion Architecture Taste and Pendle, has transformed part of the Florence Hall into a mini golf course. Nial McLaughlin and Martin Richman have opened up Gallery I and installed a sublime and contemplative piece aimed at raising questions about the nature of cities. There are a series of complex and unsettling pieces by Pierre D'Avoine, Diana Burrell, and The Nylon km, in the lobby and staircase. The 'Fused' exhibition is part of the open-door approach initiated by the head of the Architecture Centre, Victoria Thornton.

Modern conservation
Article Abstract:
The 'Modern Architecture Restored' exhibition at the Building Centre in London, UK, is the first in the UK by members of the DoCoMoMo Modernist conservation group. It aims to give a positive image to the concept of 'modern conservation', and is made up of a large number of case studies, half of which are from the UK. There is extensive information about conservation techniques, but the choice of case study buildings is limited.
