The Group of 7 industrialized nations plans to establish rules for investment funds controlled by governments, and are also pressuring China to allow its currency to rise more quickly. While the G-7 agrees that China's artificially low currency impacts global trade, an agreement has not been reached regarding an appropriate alignment of the yuan with the euro and the dollar.
