Post-merger shakeup at AIM
Article Abstract:
The merger between AIM Funds Management and Trimark Financial resulted in the departure of Elizabeth Hoyle as the latter's senior VP for marketing. On the other hand, Jeff Harvey, Trimark's AVP for advertising, has been appointed to a similar post at AIM. Other new appointments at AIM include Terri Muccilli-Oswald as AVP public relations; Diane Loveys, AVP marketing services; and Oricia Smith, AVP strategic alliances. AIM Funds has also appointed Groupaction of Montreal, Ontario, as its new creative advertising agency.

AGF Management Ltd of Toronto, Ontario, is looking for a new advertising agency after its contract with Young and Rubicam Inc expired in early 2000. The company is looking for a creative agency that can help AGP excel in a mutual fund industry that is becoming more competitive. Meanwhile, the Sebastian Consultancy of Toronto will continue to act as a consultant to AGF on special projects.
