UK: Flotation for Lamensdorf
Article Abstract:
Independent financial adviser group Lamensdorf is to expand into general insurance. As part of this policy, it will undertake a GBu 15mn flotation on the London Stock Exchange in early 2002. It will float 30% of its share capital, valuing the firm at GBu 50mn. It aims to employ 100 independent financial advisers by the end of 2001, from 75 at present. The money raised will go partly towards fuelling international expansion and creating links with independent financial advisers in emerging markets.
