GGT, BDDP to maintain separate identities

GGT of London, an ad agency is to purchase 100% of BDDP for cash and shares. The purchase will not mean a merger, and the agencies will maintain their separate brand names. However certain international clients will received a combined service. BDDP is the 15th largest ad agency group in Europe, while GGT is 22nd in Europe. BDDP president Jean-Claude Boulet claims that the sale means that BDDP is no longer independent, but will retain the integrity of its network.

Euro RSCG buys high tech shop, wins world Intel account
Article Abstract:
US advertising agency, Dhalin Smith White (DSW), has been acquired by Euro RSCG of France. DSW has to date been responsible for computer chip-maker Intel's global account, which has now been passed on to Euro RSCG, in a separate agreement. Intel has been represented by a variety of agencies including DSW, FCB Publicis in Europe, and Euro RSCG in Asia. Details of the deal have yet to be decided.

Publicis FCB takes controlling stake in Spain's Cid FCA
Article Abstract:
Cid FCA Madrid is now 75%-owned by multinational agency group Publicis FCB, which purchased an additional 50% stake from Multigruppo Madrid. Cid FCA will now be renamed FCA!BMZ. It also has agencies in Zaragoza, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville, and its leading clients include L'Oreal.
