Pirate Radio tries casting
Article Abstract:
Pirate Radio, a Toronto, Canada-based hybrid radio writing and production company, is introducing a division called Pirate Casting to find new talent. The creation of a new division is in response to persistent request by Pirate Radio's clients for fresh voices. Auditions will be held in-house by Pirate Casting, which will provide negotiation services with the agents of US and Canadian celebrities. Pirate Casting will have Natalie Hodgins and Claire Sims as casting director and in-house casting coordinator, respectively.

Brandid shop aims to fill DEV gap

MacLaren McCann of Toronto, Canada, opened a branding and design shop called Brandid to handle previous clients of its sister company, Diefenbach Elkins Vandenberg (DEV). The company intends to offer corporate, retail and package branding the solutions. Brandid directors include former DEV consultants, Lindsy Gregory and Adam Kukla, Randy Redford, Sandra LeBlanc and Derrick Francis.
