Generalized bilinear programming: an application in farm management
Article Abstract:
A generalized bilinear programming model is developed for estimating the ideal amount of manure for fertilizing agricultural land. The model uses a branch and bound procedure to provide an optimal solution to the problem at the total feasible sets and at the boundary of the feasible set of farm plans. Among the parameters considered by the model is the utilization of nutrient per hectare land use of activity.
