Wasserman and Partners Advertising has announced the appointment of George Pytilk as creative director of the advertising agency's interactive division. His reponsibilities include adapting the agency's creative strategies online and overseeing accounts for Credit Union of British Columbia, BC Rail and SmarTire Systems. Before his appointment at Wasserman, he was vice president of Maxwell Energy in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The return of Yves Gougoux
Article Abstract:
Yves Gougoux is returning to his former posts as chairman and CEO of Publicis Canada after holding the position of president of Publicis Conseil in France for two years since 1998. Although Gougoux will for North American operation, he will still retain his seat on Publicis Worldwide's board of directors. He became president of Publicis Canada after the company acquired SMW Advertising in 1997.

Stein made PJ creative director

Randy Stein has been promoted to VP, creative director of Palmer Jarvis DDB of Vancouver, British Columbia. He replaced Trevor McConnell, who has been assigned a new role at the ad agency. He joined Palmer Jarvis in 1998. Prior to his employment with the ad agency, Stein worked at BBDO in Vancouver for a a year-and-a-half and at Cossette Communication Marketing in Toronto, Ontario.
