Glaxo aims to boost prospects of four promising cancer drugs

GlaxoSmithKline PLC of the United Kingdom is developing four new cancer drugs to capture a larger market share in cancer drug sales. The pharmaceutical company had revenues of 1 billion Pounds ($1.72 billion) for cancer products or approximately five percent of its 20.35 billion Pounds in total sales. GlaxoSmithKline PLC, although the second largest pharmaceutical company by sales, ranks 11th in the sale of cancer products.

Although Mr. Blair has based his policies on those of the United States, poverty in the U.S. hasn't decreased significantly in the past decade. Mr. Blair's critics, however, are concerned about budget deficits, and on creating a system of dependency on government.
