Global plant capacity and product allocation with pricing decisions
Article Abstract:
A mathematical model for decision-making regarding globally manufacturing a product is presented. The factors considered in determining the feasibility from the model include investment, overhead absorption, customer preferences, demand curve, market size, exports and imports, production quantity, plant capacity, resource costs, exchange rates etc.

The effect of foreknowledge of demand in case of a restricted capacity: the single-stage, single-product case
Article Abstract:
Method of forecasting demand of a product being manufactured by a single product manufacturer with restricted capacity is discussed. The usage of simulation technology is evaluated. The effect of advance demand information on the performance of a single product inventory system is examined.
