Thailand's rocky road
Article Abstract:
The recent break-up of the joint venture of ThailandEs telecommunication company TelecomASia and FranceEs telecom giant Orange is analyzed. It is observed that such parting of ways of Thai companies with their western counterparts is common trend ever since 1997-98 Asian economic crises. The primary reason for the fall out is attributed to differences in the levels of expectations of both the parties in the joint venture
