SNDI's investments in the Czech Republic
Article Abstract:
SNDI (France), textile firm, commissioned a new working clothing production plant in Slavkov, the Czech Republic, in 2000. Besides production, the plant will be involved in the cleaning and decontamination of working clothing. The plant is SNDI's first plant in Central and East Europe. SNDI invested 15 mil Kc in the plant. The plant has 15 employees currently. The number should increase to 30 persons by 2001.

Flextronics International plans meaningful investment in Czech Republic
Article Abstract:
Flextronics International (FI) (US), electronic company, plans to invest in the Czech Republic in 2000. The company intends to build a total of seven factories in Brno, estimating to invest 100 mil USD in them gradually. The project should set up about 3,000 jobs. FI is the world's largest producer of made-to-order electronic equipment.
