Hilton Group completes sale of hotels, becomes Ladbrokes

Hilton Group PLC of the United Kingdom posted a net profit rise to 330.8 million Pounds ($576.7 million) for 2005 from 327.9 million Pounds in 2004. The hotel and gaming business is to focus on international expansion, possibly in the United States. Hilton Group PLC has officially changed its name to Ladbrokes PLC after selling its hotel business to Hilton Hotels Corp. of the United States.
