Hosking responds to LGV claims
Article Abstract:
The management buy-in at McBrides planned by Legal and General Ventures has been clouded by a legal dispute which could prove very costly for all parties, according to buy-in candidate George Hosking. He points out that many of the claims which were made about him by Legal and General Ventures were proved at trial to be untrue, and is now keen to reach a settlement. He feels that he invested a great deal of his time in a project which would fit in well with the altruistic aims of Legal and General.

The cinderella of M&A
Article Abstract:
Forecasting future revenue is becoming an increasingly significant element of merger and acquisition deals as new technologies emerge and the future appears increasingly uncertain. The projected revenue line should be more important than due diligence in valuing companies and assessing prospects for a merger or takeover. A reliable and accredited forecast should be the key factor in deciding whether a deal should go ahead or not.
