Article Abstract:

The soft drink giant is accused of poisoning land, stealing water and selling pesticide ladened drinks. A $16 million Coke bottling plant was shut down in Kerala, March 2004 over a still unproven case by Indian activists and local residents that it drained and polluted the local water supply.
