Article Abstract:
Burma's ruling military junta's continued obstinance and human-rights abuses have roused the wrath of the United States and the United Nations against the country. The strategies of the US and the UN in moving Burma towards democratic reforms and the intervention of Thailand to negotiate the concerns of the world with the country are discussed.
