IJmuiden to join auction network

Article Abstract:

IJMuiden is the biggest landing port in Europe. With a cold storage capacity of 2.50 million cu. meters, the private port is negotiating with the United Fish Auctions group to join its auction network. The UFA group handles the Stellendam, Scheveningen and Colinjsplaat auctions. After the merger, the four auctions will handle between them about 33% of all Dutch landings.
