The diesel engines of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses will be replaced at 33 depots by new engines that can run on CNG. IGL proposes to invest Rs650 crore in the venture. The introduction of CNG is in keeping with a Supreme Court order that all vehicles plying in Delhi should switch over to CNG or other green fuels. (uh)
