I'm a stranger in cyberspace
Article Abstract:
Learning how to surf the Internet is like negotiating through a wild, lush jungle. This observation led organizers of Orbit 96 into adopting 'Internet Jungle' as theme of its 1996 information and communications technology exhibition. To be held in Basle, Switzerland, on Oct 8 to 12, 1996, Orbit 96 will feature both old and new attractions. Among the newest trends is the provision of 'Jungle Boys' whose task is to advise, rescue and help visitors in checking out Internet demonstration units. The event will also be divided into two sections, separating amateur enthusiasts and businesses to better channel inquiries.

Rainbow's end
Article Abstract:
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) traces its roots in the late 1940s when its predecessor the International Refugee Organization (IRO) was created to help two million refugees with their resettlement problems. The IOM inherited the IRO's mantle in 1951, and the original objectives were continued by IOM in addition to other multifarious roles. Among its duties are medical care for migrants, reuniting families, providing financial assistance for repatriates and assisting governments in creating migration policies.
