In tune with nature
Article Abstract:
Architect Joe Cunningham of Edward Nash Architects has used materials from a garage originally on the site in the construction of a music studio. The studio adjoins the client's 1930s home in Bath, England, and reflects the client's desire for a New England boathouse concept. The building incorporates a garage, workroom, shower and utility room as well as the music studio which has large windows overlooking the city. The green oak frame is exposed on the interior and the architect incorporated ecological principles throughout the building.
