Indian helo action plan
Article Abstract:
Senior civil and military officials have suggested a four point action plan that would encourage the use of helicopters as civil transport by improving public awareness and acceptance of rotorcraft as quick, safe modes of transit for both people and goods. The plan would also work to enhance the operating capabilities and affordability of helicopters. The officials noted that India must establish an integrated aeronautical policy that would factor in the needs of the helicopter industry.
