Indonesia's political future appears to lack prosperity. Violence in Jakarta has slowed business and banking activity. The World Bank has postponed discussions of new loans from the US and such delay will jeopardize the International Monetary Fund-led rescue plan. Analysts claim the task of rescheduling private sector debt is a significant problem and negotiations are crucial.
