Infineon posts $69.6 million loss due to antitrust-related charge

Europe's second largest semiconductor maker Infineon Technologies AG reported a net loss for the third quarter. The company would have posted a profit had it not needed to make financial provisions to cover antitrust investigations into its dynamic random access memory business, as well as numerous class action lawsuits it is currently facing in the U.S.
