Informing the stock market
Article Abstract:
Investors and analysts are developing much more precise demands about the information they require from UK companies. It will now be necessary for companies to give more attention to the way in which they present information if they are to boost shareholder value. Some observers believe that the traditional reporting model is no longer appropriate, as it focuses on the past and places strong emphasis on financial information. They are advocating a shift towards Value Reporting, which details how a company is creating wealth for its shareholders.
