Interbrew sells 80% of Blue Jays in $112 million deal

A majority share of the Toronto Blue Jays professional baseball team has been sold by Interbrew SA to Rogers Communications Inc. Rogers acquired an 80% share of the Blue Jays for $112 million (124.6 million euros) in cash and shares.

Interbrew raises its offer for Slovenian brewer

Interbrew S.A. has increased its acquisition offer for Pivovarna Union of Slovenia. The acquisition offer was raised from 73,000 tolars per share to 80,500 tolars (366.52 euros) per share.
