Israel may face condemnation from the United Nations for its deportation of Palestinian rebels. Many are comparing Israel's defiance of the UN with Iraq's similar defiance. The Israeli high court ruled the deportations to be legal.

The Croatian army violated ceasefire lines set up by the United Nations in an attack on areas controlled by Serbians and the UN. The Serbians had seized one-third of Croatia by the end of the Serbian-Croatian war in Jan 1992.
