Koramic se d veloppe/
Article Abstract:
In the long run, Central and Eastern Europe should account for up to 25% of the turnover of Koramic, compared to 11% of the consolidated sales in 1997. The Belgian construction materials specialist is pumping over BFr 1bn in two acquisitions in these areas. These include the acquisition of BTS Dachkeramic Spzoo, the biggest tiles production operator in Poland, and that of DS Dachkeramic in Estonia, the only one tiles producer in this country which has just started its production activity. The two operations are being carried out by KWDH, a 50:50 joint venture of Koramic Roofing Systems and Wienerberger Ziegelindustrie.
