Kraft Canada Inc has appointed Daniel W. Butler as its new COO. In this capacity, Butler, who joined the food company in 1987, will be responsible for leading the company's executive team in maintaining Kraft's position as Canada's top supplier of value-added food products and services. Kraft Canada, a direct subsidiary of Northfield, IL-based Kraft Foods Inc, is based in Don Mills, Ontario, and is the owner of more than 30 top food product brands in the Canadian market.

Rogers' Russocki leaves for agency
Article Abstract:
Spencer Francey Peters Inc, a graphic design agency based in Toronto, Ontario, has appointed Ania Russocki to be its director of client services. Russocki was recently the assistant VP for marketing and communications at Rogers AT and T, also based in Toronto. She resigned from Rogers AT and T in May 2000 and will start at Spencer Francey in July. One of her main responsibilities with the agency is the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts account.

Ferguson council's top retailer
Article Abstract:
Dave Ferguson, CEO of Wal-Mart Canada, has been chosen as the Distinguished Retailer for 2000 by the Retail Council of Canada. Ferguson joined Wal-Mart International in 1995 and was appointed CEO of Wal-Mart Canada in 1996. Before his stint with Wal-Mart, Ferguson was the president of Stuarts Department Stores in Franklin, MA, and also served in various capacities at JC Penney, Richway and Upton's department stores.
