TVK and Raba report net profit for first 9 months

TVK Rt. and Raba Rt. both posted net profit increases for the first nine months of 2000. TVK's net profits more than doubled for the period to 12.37 billion forints. Raba posted a 19% rise in its net profits to 2.8 billion forints for the period.

Valeo reports a net loss, but operating profit grows

Kwik-Fit's profit jumped 17% for year; share price rises 8.6%

Kwik-Fit Holdings PLC posted an increase of 17% in its yearly pretax profit for the 1998 year. The company reported a profit improvement to 64.3 million pound sterling ($104.8 million) from 55.1 million pound sterling. The profit increase led to a 8.6% rise in the company's share value. Analysts had predicted that Kwik-Fit would post 58.6 million in pretax profits.
