Children of the AA
Article Abstract:
Michael Fletcher and Keith Priest launched their architectural practice in the late 1970s. They had both studied at the AA, where the prevailing attitude encouraged them to think very broadly about architecture, but they met whilst working for Wolff Olins. The Fletcher Priest practice has won admiration from colleagues, but its work is hard to categorize. The practice has designed low-cost cinemas and fitted sophisticated corporate buildings for companies including Sony and IBM. It has now won a major commission to design Vodafone's corporate headquarters.
