Aircraft de-icing: is the future just hot air?
Article Abstract:
Aircraft de-icing has been a constant source of environmental and cost issues due to the subject's strong safety and operational demands. This is reflected in the recent meeting of the G12 De-icing Committee of the Society of Automobile Engineers and the de-icing/anti-icing arm of the Assn of European Airlines. The environment and airline operations benefit from the efforts at improving de-icing systems as companies continually improve snow removal, fluid and other related equipment.

A bridge too far?
Article Abstract:
New commuter bridges provide regional airline passengers with greater passenger comfort and faster baggage handling than with conventional boarding bridges.
