Jim McNerney has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Boeing Co. Mr. McNerney was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co. for four and a half years. Boeing Co. shares are up $4.33 or seven percent to $66 on the New York Stock Exchange close.
