CHUM's Team plays nationally
Article Abstract:
CHUM Group Radio has changed the broadcasting formats at eight of its AM radio stations. The company will launch the National Sports Radio Network, to be called The Team, that will offer 24 hours a day of sports coverage in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Halifax, Winnipeg, Peterborough, Kingston and Kitchener. The Team Gen Mgr Paul J Williams said his radio network would have a niche since sports is avidly followed by the 18-to-49 or 25- to-54 male category.
