Mail order in Spain
Article Abstract:
The Spanish mail order market has grown by 17% since 1986 although average sales increases slackened off to 5% in 1995. Customers are using the telephone for an increasing number of transactions although the post is by far the predominant method. Payments are made at the time of order or on delivery using a variety of methods such as credit cards and cheques. Some customers prefer large mail order companies because they feel that they are more reliable than smaller organisations.
