Article Abstract:

Plans to set low-density settlements in the UK to discourage attacks came out following World War 2, but those plans fell apart following the creation of nuclear weapons. Nevertheless it is questionable whether it is responsible to support a resurgence in public transport and a densification of various New Towns that had been set up because of the existing threat of terrorism. It is recommended that measures be taken to minimize terrorist opportunities.
