Mexico elections delay sales
Article Abstract:
Mexico has slowed privatization of utilities and other energy concerns in part because problems arose during the rapid sell-off of banks and other financial concerns. Economic conditions in Mexico and the impact of current political elections on the privatizations are analyzed. Past privatization of the telecommunications industry and the current move to privatize airports are both discussed.
