Modeling action-interdependence in multiple criteria decision making
Article Abstract:
A new definition and characterization of interdependence of actions for problems on subset selection showed that disregarding interdependence of actions in several criteria decision problems is even more uncertain than in one criteria decision problems. In multiple decision situations, the supplementary information evaluation and more demanding computational requirements to involve interdependence precisely, will benefit from more accurate evaluations and more desirable alternatives.

Multi-attribute decision making: a simulation comparison of select models
Article Abstract:
An evaluation of the different techniques used in solving multi-attribute decision making problems showed the best techniques to be the Simple Additive Weighting and Multiplicative Exponential Weighting techniques. Both techniques were found to be better than the ELECTRE, TOPSIS and four versions of the AHP techniques since the weights produced by the techniques in the evaluation process showed high variability.
