Molson "sponsors" new citizens
Article Abstract:
Molson Canada on Apr 16, 2001, with the help of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, sponsored the swearing in of 16 new Canadians before the Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game against the Ottawa Senators at the Air Canada Centre. On Apr 14, the brewer did the same thing before the two teams' game at Ottawa's Corel Centre. This is part of Molson's new 'Here's to You Canada' campaign, which was unveiled on Apr 1. Produced by Bensimon.Byrne D'Arcy, the campaign is a toast about being Canadian.

Kokanee's new TV spots, developed by advertising agency Bryant Fulton and Shee, revolves around the notion that there is a real 'police' force that would help people live the British Columbia lifestyle. Bryant Fulton decided to form a promotional Mountain Patrol complete with badges, vehicles and stickers. Response from Kokanee drinkers reveals that they were surprised that the Mountain Patrol would show up at their campsites and rummage through their beer coolers.
